Health and Engineering Curriculum driven by Employer Needs
The South Devon UTC 2021 curriculum model is designed to appeal to young people who intend to specialise in health and engineering careers. Our programme offers young people in South Devon a unique opportunity to become specialists and experts at a comparatively early stage in their education.
Our 4-year learning programme supports their continued growth to becoming capable, creative and innovative young people and the college is moving towards becoming the 1st choice of educational provider for those intending to pursue careers in the health and technical sectors. We work closely with industry-partners and Exeter University to provide an enhanced experience for our learners and our high-calibre school leavers continue to celebrate outstanding destinations with all graduates of the UTC this year having achieved the grades or higher to go on to their appropriate destinations examples of which include:
• Adult Nursing, Midwifery at Plymouth University
