We support South Devon UTC as we are great believers in the benefits of vocational training and education. We have long had a presence in Devon through our Linden Homes brand and are currently constructing the South Devon Link Road. We, therefore, naturally have an interest in maintaining a flow of skilled personnel and forging ever closer links with local communities.
Galliford Try is one of the leading construction and housebuilding companies in the UK, listed on the FTSE 250. There are many job opportunities across the Galliford Try group for graduates and apprentices. These include Operations, project and site managers, quantity surveyors, civil engineers, foremen, estimators and many others roles within the support services such as IT, business development, HR and finance.
Greg Fitzgerald, Chief Executive of Galliford Try, said: “I have both a professional and personal interest in South Devon UTC since I studied at South Devon College and still live nearby. Galliford Try has worked on many projects in the south-west including housing, highways and flood alleviation schemes. I am fully aware of the UTC’s potential and am keen to do all I can to provide support in a way that will benefit local people and enable Galliford Try to grow further.”
