A personalised learning pathway ensures the right qualifications are offered for progression to higher education. This could be at the University of Exeter, South Devon College and other higher education institutions.
South Devon UTC is set up specifically to give students the skills they need to succeed, whether that is in work as a technician or progression to higher education. The qualifications gained with us offer young people the chance of employment or opportunities to continue their studies further, possibly with an advanced or higher apprenticeship.
At South Devon UTC, we want to maximise your opportunity to study at the university of your choice. We provide dedicated guidance and support throughout all stages, including: visiting universities, UCAS applications, interview preparation and finally preparation for degree level studies and university life.
South Devon UTC students who aspire to study science or engineering at the University of Exeter will need to achieve consistently high grades to meet the entry criteria. Those who achieve distinctions and merits for their Level 3 Technical Qualification and an “A” in A-Level Mathematics should compete well for a place.
