Year 11 Parent/Student Exam Study Support Evening – Tuesday 6th February, 2018
5.30pm – 7.00pm
As the spring term gest well on its way, we are all working towards ensuring that students are in the best possible position to study and prepare for their exams this summer; the work that they are doing at College and home now, will have the greatest impact on their outcomes, as opposed to the last-minute revision students sometimes resort to. In light of this, we invite you and your son/daughter to attend an evening of subject specific study support sessions on Tuesday 6th February, 2018.
This will give you the opportunity to receive detailed information about the format of the exam your child is preparing for, and importantly, to take away study resources and tips so that you are better placed to support your son in the run up to the exam season.
We will be concentrating on English, Mathematics and the Sciences. Each session will be delivered by the Lead of that subject. We hope to see you then.
In addition, there will be the opportunity to speak to specialists about exams access arrangements and sixth form courses as well as other subject areas including Geography and Engineering.
"I grew up in the countryside and spent my childhood with my head in rockpools. I've always been passionate about the environment and firmly believe that you should spend your life doing what you love."

"I wanted a career and to do something with my life. I chose engineering as I like "hands-on" and practical work. The best thing is it's constantly changing and evolving so there's always more to learn."

" I always wanted to be a scientist. I love the environment and ever since I was a little girl I've had a scientific curiosity."
